Sarah Chaney

Sarah grew up in Weiser and came to the firm by an unusual route. Before the legal field, she spent several years in law enforcement, first as a dispatcher and then as a jail deputy. That background matters. Clients who are frightened and unfamiliar with the process tend to find her easier to talk to than they expected.

She runs the firm's operations: administration, workflow, and keeping the office moving so legal work isn't held up by paperwork. She also holds an Idaho Family Law Mediation Certification, which means family mediation can happen here rather than through a third office.

Her particular interests are family law and criminal defense.
